QC Weld Inspector Full Time Newark, DE, US First Shift – 6:00am-2:30pm, Frequent overtime Job Summary In this role you will perform documented inspections in the verification of conformance of parts to applicable drawings, procedures, and specifications. The QC Inspector is responsible for the execution of the inspection test plan and project quality plan according to customer's and company specifications and standards, as well as responsible for defining and controlling all project required QC documents. Documenting dimensional and visual inspections to the drawing or applicable procedures Reviewing and verify internal and external qualifications of suppliers, welders, NDE personnel with regard to Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE), welding procedures and/or other applicable requirements. Reviewing and maintain customer's manufacturing and testing documents and procedures Preparing and define test and inspection requirements for the required projects such as ITP and procurement specifications And any other duties assigned Requirements Weld experience At least 2 years relevant experience HS Diploma/GED Familiarity with NDE examinations Experience writing work instructions Safety-related experience Knowledge of the established quality standards. Must have knowledge of inspection equipment generally found in machining, welding, assembly and test operations Flexible, eager to learn, accurate, analytical with positive, can‑do attitude Flexibility and willingness to travel for training purposes Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and presentation skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Potts-Welding-
