Business Analysis And Facilitation Subject Matter Expert (Sme)Client First Technologies currently is seeking a business analysis and facilitation subject matter expert (SME) in support of our government customer. The business analysis and facilitation SME provides expert-level support in requirements gathering, process optimization, and system integration.The business analysis and facilitation SME is responsible for delivering detailed business requirements, facilitating agile ceremonies, and translating complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions that advance the government customer's mission objectives.This is a full-time position in camp springs, MD with the opportunity for telework (as authorized).CFT offers a full benefits package, a collaborative work environment, and a strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.This position is contingent upon contract award.RequirementsDeliver detailed business requirement documentation, including process flow diagrams, use cases, and functional specifications, drawing on knowledge of policy and the customer's IT landscape to support IT development initiativesConduct retrospective analyses, process reengineering, implementation planning, organizational design, and organizational impact assessmentsImplement lean and agile frameworks, measuring impact through performance metrics and user satisfaction tailored to the government customer's operational needsDevelop and refine agile tools, roadmaps, preparation of studies, and governance models; collaborate with the government customer to understand and address new requirements and opportunities for products, features, and processesEstablish prioritization mechanisms for backlog grooming and sprint planning, with transparent reporting.Facilitate successful in-person and remote meetings, special projects, and initiativesSupport workforce training and stakeholder engagement, identifying and readying users to alpha and beta test specific featuresConduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with documented feedback loops to refine deployments before full-scale rolloutProactively develop strategies and recommendations for improvement opportunities, including policy and guidance development, ideation, and operationsCollaborate with subject matter experts to create decision criteria, identify alternative solutions, evaluate pros, cons, and risks, and develop project metrics in support of operational readinessQualificationsBachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field requiredMinimum of eight (8) years of experience as a business analyst or SMEMinimum of five (5) years of experience supporting federal programs in areas such as process optimization, requirements analysis, and systems integration with a focus on immigrationCertified business analysis professional (CBAP), agile certified practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent certification requiredDemonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow optimizationStrong understanding of agile methodologies, testing, and system deploymentAbility to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutionsFamiliarity with DHS and systems supporting immigration related work preferredPhysical DemandsMust be able to sit and stand for extended periods of timeOccasional travel and overtime may be requiredRequired Clearances and ScreeningsThis position is subject to a DHS background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive but unclassified (SBU) information
