This leave coverage assignment, based near New Haven, CT, spans from October 2026 to March 1, 2027. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Connecticut
• Previous experience working within a school environment, preferably K-12
• Knowledge of case management and special education processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for different grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to students identified in need across multiple schools
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with students' IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
• Manage documentation and keep records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Offer consultation and strategies to school teams to promote students’ functional independence in the educational setting
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
