Analyst I - Telework Hybrid

Job Summary $3,861.00–$6,276.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable. The position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Telework is available on a hybrid basis; California residency is required. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday‑Friday. Responsibilities Support enterprise digital transformation initiatives, including data analytics, process improvement, and AI‑related project support. Assist in executing digital projects, evaluating service performance data, and designing improved customer‑focused digital workflows. Minimum Requirements Class specification for Analyst I (see Class Specification for full details). Salary Range: $3,861.00–$4,839.00 (Class A), $4,181.00–$5,233.00 (Class B), $5,014.00–$6,276.00 (Class C). Work Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Telework: Hybrid (California residency required). Desirable Qualifications Proficiency with data analysis tools. Familiarity with basic AI concepts and process mapping. Strong Excel and SQL skills. Experience with Tableau or Power BI. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple assignments. Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
