Job Description

Stand Up Forklift Operators play a critical role in supporting the warehouse, manufacturing line staff, and logistics departments by safely and efficiently handling a wide variety of materials including high volume goods and fragile items. They ensure smooth inventory movement and maintain warehouse organization through diligent equipment operation, inspections, and teamwork. Operators are expected to perform daily equipment checks and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime while adapting to shift-based schedules with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand up forklifts to move and load materials safely and efficiently
• Handle, stack, and organize inventory and goods within warehouse and production areas
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
• Comply with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment
• Keep accurate records of inventory movement and equipment usage
• Collaborate with warehouse, manufacturing, and logistics teams to meet operational goals
• Assist with routine forklift maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating forklifts
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in forklift operation and safety compliance
• Experience with inventory management and warehouse organization
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and time management
