Schedule 1st shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. A day in this role As our EHS Programs & Compliance Coordinator, you’ll be a hands‑on partner to operations. Your day starts by aligning with the site HSE team, supporting the safety committee, and planning the shift’s priorities. You’ll rotate through floor inspections, coach teams on safe work, and keep our environmental, health, and safety systems current and audit‑ready. What you will do Facilitate and participate in site safety committee meetings and follow‑up actions. Complete risk assessments and Job Safety Plans (JSPs) across process, behavior, PPE, and related areas as assigned by site HSE. Execute routine HSE floor activities and inspections, including: Spill Control/Storm Water Pollution inspections Hazardous/Universal Waste Storage area maintenance, transportation, and inspections (Satellite and Accumulation Storage locations) Fire Extinguisher/Emergency Exit/Emergency Lighting inspections Eye wash/shower stations inspections First Aid/AED stations maintenance and inspection Spill Kit supply maintenance and inspections Emergency response drills Annual audiometric testing coordination Secondary container labeling (GHS/HAZCOM) audits Lockout Tagout procedure audits/edits LPA Safety Audits Implement safe start and other safe start activities Maintain Environmental tracking Train and manage Irradiation department and be able to obtain an RSO certification. Other Site HSE/BBS audits Assist HSE and the safety committee with investigations of employee accidents and near misses; document findings in the incident reporting database. Oversee floor waste/scrap locations, coordinate transportation, maintain logs, and manage HSEDM reporting. Deliver portions of New Hire Safety Orientation as assigned by site HSE. Lead or support floor toolbox talks and refresher trainings; record and track training completion. Promote and reinforce Consequence Thinking/Zero & Beyond training. Conduct forklift training and re‑certification for site employees as needed. Maintain HSE information on TIER Boards. Support ISO 1400 & 45001 initiatives in coordination with site HSE. Contribute to other HSE activities as assigned by site HSE. What you bring Production floor experience in a manufacturing environment Forklift operator experience Genuine passion for safety and continuous improvement Experience training other operators Associate’s degree preferred 1–3 years of experience working in EHS Proficiencies Hazardous Materials OSHA 10‑Hour Certification (OSHA 10) Warehouse Experience Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification Workplace Safety & EHS Management #J-18808-Ljbffr
