Field Electrician – Arc Flash Data Collector Use your experience in electrical systems while working independently and traveling to customer sites. This role focuses on data collection for arc‑flash evaluations and system testing in industrial, hospital, and data center environments. Who we are Guidant Power provides arc flash evaluations, infrared inspection, and electrical safety training to industrial, commercial, and healthcare clients nationwide. Since 2011 we have completed thousands of evaluations and inspections for well‑known companies in healthcare, energy, and manufacturing. Who we need We are looking for an individual with prior industrial electrical experience who can travel to customer sites, inspect electrical distribution systems, read and modify one‑line diagrams, and perform arc flash, LIM, and ATS tests. What you'll do Travel to job sites to conduct arc flash evaluations Open equipment and record information via photos, paper, and electronic means Read and understand one‑line drawings and create accurate as‑built drawings Test and document performance of LIMs and ATS equipment following established procedures and customer requirements Utilize online document storage and spreadsheets to enter and upload data Communicate with engineering and the customer to answer questions and ensure accuracy Apply labels to electrical equipment Represent the company professionally as the interface with customers Use knowledge to accurately describe electrical distribution systems for engineering teams Work at a variety of facilities, including factories, hospitals, and data centers What you bring to the table Industrial experience (previous arc flash evaluation, LIM or ATS, or electrical engineering degree) Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air Live within an hour of a major airport Proficiency with laptops, tablets, Google Drive, spreadsheets, Google Photos, and PDF files Proven teamwork and collaboration skills in a small, focused team Additional information Must be able to lift 50 pounds and walk, stand, and crawl for extended periods Resident of the United States (no visa sponsorship) 100% travel position What we offer Competitive compensation package ($80,000–$100,000 per year) Health insurance 401(k) Flexible working policy Competitive benefits package Schedule & Logistics 10–hour shift 8–hour shift Monday to Friday Year‑round work Work Location: On the road Electrical license preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
