Job Overview Fairview is looking for a Registered Nurse in the ICU at Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN. Schedule This role is a .6 FTE (48 hours every 2 weeks) working 12-hour day shifts, with every third weekend rotation. Variable weekday schedule. Free parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Responsibilities Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes. Collaborate with patient, family and other health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated, comprehensive plan of care. Develop an individualized plan based on age, social and cultural considerations, condition and other relevant needs. Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes. Collaborate and communicate effectively and respectfully with the patient, family and members of the health care team within and across care settings to promote partnership-based health care. Demonstrate the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes. Promote a culture of evidence based practice (EBP). Required Qualifications 1 year Critical Care Experience (ED or ICU) MN Registered Nurse (RN) License Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) TNCC within 1 year and/or successful completion of approved trauma training program within 6 months Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Nursing 1 year experience CCRN certification Benefit Overview Fairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
