Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Job Title Per Diem RN Delegator Work Hours 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday with rotating on-call nights and weekends, and seeing clients prior to office hours and after as needed. Department Name Clinical Reports To Clinical Director and Administrator of Home Care and Home Health. As a Per Diem RN Delegator, you will conduct nursing assessments and home health visits across King and Snohomish County, ensuring quality care and delegating to caregivers as needed. Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities Perform RN home health visits. Responsible for RN delegations and documentation; training provided if needed. Write Plans of Care and ensure their implementation. Observe clients for changes in condition and report to Clinical Director. Document nursing observations, interventions, and evaluations. Conduct assessments, including opening new client cases. Address emergent nursing issues. Supervise caregivers (CNA, HCA) by providing coaching and training. Perform clinical administrative work. Rotate on-call for urgent nursing matters via phone or visits. Qualifications – Knowledge Required Must be an RN in the State of Washington and graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Must demonstrate ability to practice independently in nursing care delivery. 2 to 3 years clinical experience; preferably in rehabilitation, home care, hospital, or hospice. Ability to read and write in English. Reliable vehicle for travel to work sites. Valid Washington State Driver’s License. Proof of current auto liability insurance. Computer literate with experience in different computer programs. Strong grasp of legal and ethical issues pertaining to confidentiality. Creative, flexible, and innovative.
