Company Description Tessera Adolescent Health is a residential treatment center in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, serving teenagers ages 14–18 with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The program offers 16 beds in a structured, closely supervised environment designed to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care. A multidisciplinary team of medical and mental health providers, nurses, therapists, and care staff collaborates on each teen’s individualized treatment plan, which includes individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychiatric consultation and medication management. Treatment incorporates CBT, DBT, MET, and experiential therapies such as fitness, art, music, yoga, and medication-assisted therapy. Tessera serves all genders, works with families nationwide, and accepts commercial insurance and private pay. Role Description The Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Levittown, PA, providing direct clinical services to adolescents in a residential setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating family therapy, and developing, implementing, and updating treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The Therapist performs clinical assessments, documents progress notes and treatment interventions in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards, and participates in case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings. The role involves coordinating care with medical and psychiatric providers, supporting crisis intervention and safety planning, and engaging families and caregivers in the treatment process. The Therapist also contributes to program development, adheres to ethical and legal standards of practice, and supports a therapeutic environment that is trauma-informed, gender-inclusive, and culturally responsive. Qualifications Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) in the state of Pennsylvania; master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field. Clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for adolescents with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions, including experience with risk assessment and crisis intervention. Knowledge and applied experience with evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), and familiarity with medication-assisted treatment. Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in residential, inpatient, or intensive outpatient settings, preferably with adolescent populations. Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload and meet clinical, regulatory, and agency requirements. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, communicate clearly with colleagues and families, and maintain professional boundaries.
