Home Care Aide

At Visiting Angels Central Delaware, we are dedicated to providing compassionate senior care to families in Middletown, Delaware. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, allowing them to maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

Provide non-medical home care services to clients, including personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and social support
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families, ensuring exceptional care and service
Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
Prepare meals and snacks, as needed
Provide transportation to appointments and errands
Document care services provided and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to provide non-medical care and support to seniors
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)
Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
