THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Quality Auditor – Shipping is responsible for inspecting modules for orders ensuring they are prepared as per the customer’s requirements. As a member of the Resilient Structure team, this position will support an organizational culture that cares for others’ well‑being through best practices in health and safety, in addition to the company’s values of safety, respect, resilience, and teamwork.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Conduct quality inspections of all modules and pole sets for orders Maintains lab safety and helps maintain lab cleanliness Coordinate and maintain proper workflow Perform sample cutting of module test specimens (coupons) with tile saw Performs inspections of poles for custom cut lengths against engineering drawings Performs inspections of poles for custom drill patterns against engineering drawings Conduct other pre‑production, final product and shipping inspections Maintain both electronic and hard copies of quality records Inform Quality Manager of any discrepancies in tests or inspections Adhere to all related paperwork for efficient process flow Report all equipment‑related issues to the Quality Manager Ensure proper inventory of materials to perform the job Assist the Engineering Department in the research, trial/development, selection of new processes and equipment to improve processes Assist in training and cross training of team members Participate in continuous improvement activities Comply with all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, Provincial and Federal Rules and Regulations Analyze non‑conformities occurred, find and propose ways for fixing them, and suggest‑implement solutions to increase the quality of the final products. Create 3D and 2D sketches of non‑conformities and act pro‑active into finding a good fit for "on hold" semi‑products, while keeping the same level of quality, or obtaining a better one. WHAT YOU BRING

High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience One to three years’ experience within a Quality role in a production environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Engineering, print reading knowledge and experience. Collaborative mindset, capable of working cross‑functionally with leadership, Proactive problem‑solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address issues. High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism. Resilient and adaptable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Combination of industrial facility and office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting and computer‑based work. Regular interaction with employees, leadership, and external visitors. Shifts 1 days / 1nights

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical requirements listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, equipment, and tools. Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and occasional kneeling or crouching, as required. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work safely in the assigned work environment.
