St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nurse Apprentice to join our Intensive Care Unit team.

The ICU provides care for critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical needs. In this role, you will work alongside nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

• Boise ICU Flex Team Nights

What You Can Expect:

• Part-time night-shift position working two 12-hour shifts per week
• Flex nightshift Working two 12 hour shifts a pay cycle.
• Shift differential pay for nights and weekends
• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living, mobility, repositioning, hygiene, and other essential patient care needs
• Assist with obtaining vital signs, monitoring intake and output, and promptly communicating changes in a patient's condition to the nursing team
• Care for critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Work closely with nurses and an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
• Strengthen your clinical skills and gain valuable experience caring for high-acuity patients
• Eligibility to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education

Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute

Qualifications: Nurse Apprentice

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrollment in an accredited school of nursing with ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accreditation
• No previous experience required

Licenses and Certifications:

• Nurse Apprentice Letter or Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute
