In this role, the incumbent will apply working knowledge of Workforce Development protocols, including a strong understanding of the field, core programs, and business plans. As a leader and member of the Corporate Management Team, the Project Director is accountable for ensuring quality and integrity across all workforce functions and serves as the primary local contact with Workforce Solutions Borderplex (WSB).Your Impact on Career Team's Success:Serve as the primary local contact and contract liaison with Workforce Solutions Borderplex (WSB) and the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC)Oversee daily programmatic operations across the six-county Borderplex regionEnsure compliance with contract requirements, including coordination and adherence to policies and procedures and program monitoring for continuous improvement and customer satisfactionPrepare and manage multiple funding streams rates to keep the project on track without disallowed costs, drive metrics and performance, provide support, coach frontline staff, and create service delivery plans for the projectLead high-functioning teams to execute program initiatives while supporting employee growth, through coaching and training.Build and maintain strong relationships with the Board, employers, community organizations, labor representatives, and workforce partners, through regular meetings and planning sessions across the BorderplexEnsure services are delivered in a culturally responsive manner that reflects the bilingual, binational character of the Borderplex communityConduct regular coaching sessions and annual performance evaluations of the teamSupport business development and identify growth opportunities within the project, state, and regionApproach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindsetOther duties and projects as neededOther Job Duties: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
