As a Preschool Teacher, you will nurture the growth and development of young learners in a classroom setting of 10-15 students. Utilizing the State Standard Curriculum and Creative Curriculum frameworks, you will design engaging lessons and activities that foster early childhood education. Reporting to the Preschool Director, you will play a key role in monitoring development, guiding behavior, ensuring safety, and maintaining open communication with parents. The role offers opportunities for professional development through regular training, workshops, seminars, and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lesson activities aligned with curriculum frameworks
• Manage classroom environment and student behavior effectively
• Assess child development and monitor progress regularly
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and concerns
• Coordinate engaging and developmentally appropriate activities
• Supervise students to ensure safety and active participation
• Implement curriculum standards consistently
• Provide behavior guidance, fostering a positive learning atmosphere
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Collaborate with team members and the Preschool Director

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in early childhood education

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Early Childhood Education Certification
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Skills in child development, classroom management, and lesson planning
• Strong communication, behavioral observation, and teamwork abilities
• Patience, creativity, conflict resolution, and time management skills
