job summary:
A top ENR contractor is hiring an Estimating Manager to support commercial building projects across Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greenville, SC. This role will focus on estimating, takeoffs, and preconstruction support for healthcare, higher education, science/technology, and other commercial work, while partnering closely with regional leadership.

The team is open to candidates from both GC and building-related subcontractor estimating backgrounds who can independently build and price estimates and contribute to a collaborative regional team.

responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle estimating for commercial building projects, from quantity takeoff through final pricing and estimate submission

• Build, analyze, and defend accurate project estimates, budgets, and pricing strategies for internal leadership and clients

• Support preconstruction efforts across Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greenville, SC, partnering with operations and regional leadership teams

• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis using Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar estimating tools

• Provide experienced estimating support across healthcare, higher education, science/technology, and other commercial building projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, ideally within a GC or building-related subcontractor environment

• Proven ability to independently build and price estimates for commercial building projects

• Experience with estimating/takeoff software such as Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools; construction-related degree preferred but not require
