Transportation Engineer

An established engineering firm is seeking a Roadway Engineer to join its Transportation team. This role will support the design and delivery of a wide range of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, interchanges, bridges (new design and rehabilitation), rural and urban roadways, intersections, roundabouts, and pavement management programs. Responsibilities Assist in the design and production of DOT, turnpike, municipal, and county transportation projects Support the Project Manager with roadway design, bridge design, drainage, and traffic control plans Prepare construction documents and technical reports Participate in project proposals, interviews, and client presentations Attend client meetings and coordinate with stakeholders Provide leadership and technical guidance to production staff Manage multiple project assignments while meeting deadlines Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering 1–5+ years of experience on DOT, municipal, or county transportation projects Experience in roadway and/or bridge design Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or MicroStation products (OpenRoads, InRoads, or GEOPAK preferred) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office PE license / EIT preferred or ability to obtain in a timely manner Familiarity with local and state transportation standards preferred Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple priorities Medical and dental insurance Paid Time Off and paid holidays Short- and long-term disability insurance Life insurance and AD&D Flexible Spending Account 401(k) with profit sharing Additional wellness-related benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
