PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – DATA ENTRY

LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX 76177 | Onsite Training, Potential Hybrid

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $22.00/hour contractor pay
• Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CT; occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT
• Initial training schedule may vary during the first two weeks; onsite training is required for approximately 2–3 months
• After successful training, role may transition to hybrid: 2 days onsite and 3 days remote
• Potential conversion to full-time employment

ROLE IMPACT
Support pharmacy operations through accurate, high-volume prescription data entry and processing. This is primarily a data entry role requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, attendance, and knowledge of pharmacy terminology and prescription information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accurately enter prescription, patient, prescriber, medication, and related pharmacy information into pharmacy systems.
• Review entered information for completeness and accuracy while following established pharmacy procedures and quality standards.
• Process prescription and insurance information and maintain accurate electronic pharmacy records.
• Protect patient confidentiality and handle pharmacy information in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other team members to resolve data discrepancies and support timely prescription processing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician data entry experience.
• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing and current PTCB or NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
• Strong data entry skills, attention to detail, reliable transportation, and ability to maintain dependable attendance and work the required onsite and hybrid schedules.
