DC Materials Handler - Quality Assurance

Warehouse Inventory SpecialistPerform a wide variety of job functions associated with maintaining inventory integrity and improving efficiencies throughout the distribution center. Essential job functions include order adjustments, monitoring and resolving allocation issues, performing inventory transfers, printing and applying location labels, requesting repair and replacement of RF and Vocollect units, reviewing and researching various reports, researching inventory discrepancies, processing stray parts, auditing outbound parcels and inbound license plates, performing daily audits and reconciling items, performing relabel and changeover projects, performing slotting jobs, maintaining rule sets and assignments, helping maintain accurate dimensional data, ensuring safe weight on beams, performing factory stock adjustments, performing daily cycle counts, performing monthly inventory, cycle counting each DC location at least once per trimester, performing return department verification each quarter, maintaining ship percentage with on hand and DC shrink goals, keeping work areas neat and clean, maintaining safety standards, and assisting in maintaining a strong promote-from-within philosophy.Skills/Education/Experience Required: Basic computer skills, strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.
