Position Description

At our company, safety is a choice-and we choose to be safe. As a CDL Class-A Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service. Your key duties include:

• Commit to Safety - Always wear and properly maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) while strictly following all safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect Equipment - Conduct thorough pre-shift, pre-trip, and post-trip inspections to ensure all equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Operate a yard horse to maneuver and move precast product.
• Perform Hands-On Tasks - Assist with site cleanup, sample collection, waste removal, and other remediation activities as needed.
• Maintain Accurate Records - Complete all required driver logs, reports, and documentation promptly and accurately.
• Perform Routine Maintenance - Take responsibility for daily preventative maintenance tasks, such as greasing, washing, and general upkeep of equipment.
• Uphold Company Standards - Understand, follow, and actively promote all company policies and procedures to maintain a professional and compliant workplace.
• Ensure Worksite Safety - Clean and prepare work areas to identify and eliminate potential hazards before and after tasks.
• Support Team Goals - Take on additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor , ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a Clean Work Environment - Demonstrate diligence in keeping work areas organized, safe, and free of unnecessary hazards at all times.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES

• CDL-A driver (without automatic transmission restriction)
• Able to quickly gain knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures.
• Ability to effectively make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
