Transactions Associate - Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or San Diego

Job Overview Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a corporate associate with 3‑5 years of relevant experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in one of our Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or San Diego offices. This role will involve handling a mix of emerging companies & venture capital (ECVC) financing, M&A, private equity and general corporate counseling for publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, and other investors and entrepreneurs. Responsibilities Handle a mix of ECVC financing, M&A, private equity, and general corporate counseling. Assist in capital markets transactions and public company reporting (preferred). Draft and communicate key documents and communications. Qualifications 3‑5 years of relevant legal experience, with experience working on venture capital/early‑stage financings, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other commercial transactions. Strong drafting and communication skills, business development aptitude, and excellent interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and exceptional work ethic. Strong academic credentials: JD from an ABA‑accredited law school and in good standing as an active member of the California Bar. Benefits Competitive salary range of $260,000–$390,000.
