Location: Saugerties, NY
Job Type: Full-Time | In Person
Compensation: $38,000–$49,849 annually, including summer hours; based on experience and certification
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Position: 10-month school year + 6-week summer program

Center for Spectrum Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (LOTA) to join its collaborative school-based team serving children ages 2–12 on the autism spectrum. This is an opportunity to provide hands-on occupational therapy support in a structured, supportive environment focused on student development and individualized care.

The Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborate with classroom staff and families, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, classroom staff, and families.
• Support students’ participation in educational and daily activities.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes and clinical documentation.
• Assist with evaluations and quarterly and annual reporting as directed.
• Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (LOTA) license required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is helpful but not required.
