We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Surgery Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Brooklyn Park. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting during procedures. This position requires an understanding of animal care, physiology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

 

- Monitor animals before, during, and after appointments.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
- Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners.
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals.
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures.

- Uphold cleanliness and organization within the surgical are and equipment

Requirements:
-Veterinary clinic experience required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

- Skills in animal handling techniques
