Sr Software Engineer- C# Developer

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to join the Elysian team as a full‑stack developer on a C# / TypeScript‑based physical commodities trading platform that runs on Google Cloud Platform. The successful candidate will help roll the application out to new customers and markets, shape the software’s future, and take advantage of GCP training programs to gain valuable cloud qualifications. Responsibilities System Design and Development: Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust and scalable applications. Platform Maintenance and Optimization: Assist with ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes; optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability. Automation and Efficiency: Develop scripts and utilities for routine tasks, reporting, and analysis to reduce manual effort and improve processing speed. Documentation and Best Practices: Adhere to coding standards, version control, and software development best practices; participate in code reviews. Production Troubleshooting: Work with support staff and development teams to resolve application production issues. Bug Management Ownership: Capture, assess, and own the rectification of system issues and bugs reported by clients, developers, and the release team. Deployment Management and Automation: Build releases, document release notes, and ensure quality of each release. Story Review Participation: Provide feedback on work‑effort estimation, architecture, and design improvements; collaborate with the team to foster innovation. Essential Criteria Bachelor's degree (with honours) or equivalent experience; substantial relevant experience may substitute. Strong knowledge of C# .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript/React with demonstrable experience. Experience coding in a story‑driven, agile environment. Strong knowledge and experience of SDLC methodologies; agile is a significant advantage. Expertise in Object‑Oriented Design and Patterns. Experience with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. Professional Attributes Proactive and resourceful, action‑oriented and accountable. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Good organizational and time‑management skills. Compensation and Benefits The pay range for this role is $114,200–$190,300. Actual salary offered will depend on relevant experience, skills, education, and internal comparisons.
