This full-time role, based in Tacoma, Washington, primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring you can make a significant impact in the lives of individuals grappling with various mood disorders.

Work Environment
This role offers the convenience of a remote work setting while maintaining a strong connection with our outpatient office. You will participate in regular virtual team meetings and consultations to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care. Our supportive work culture emphasizes professional development, team collaboration, and maintaining a balanced work-life experience. Typically, your business hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while promoting the flexibility to accommodate patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including the severity, frequency, and duration of mood-related issues.
- Collaborate with clients to devise personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific objectives and preferences.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the needs of each client.
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, therapeutic processes, and effective self-care strategies.
- Continuously monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to the care plan to better address their evolving needs.
- Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver a high standard of integrated care.
- Stay informed on current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance clinical practice.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Engage in regular case consultations and professional training to further develop skills and contribute to the best practices in the field.
- Act as an advocate for clients, working toward the destigmatization of mental health issues and championing their wellbeing.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clients come from varied backgrounds and often face complex life challenges, requiring a sensitive and individualized therapeutic approach to effectively support their mental health needs.
Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Active licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.
- Proficient in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, fostering effective collaboration with psychiatric professionals.
- A proven track record of successful client outcomes related to mood disorder treatment.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with diverse clients and their families.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting, specifically working with clients diagnosed with mood disorders.
- Familiarity with integrated care approaches and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, reflective of your experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
