Associate Technician (2nd shift)

Technical Production Associate – Optical Surfacing Location: Store # WM0135 Optical Surfacing OMAHA Job Type: Full-Time Job ID: 928804 Responsibilities Coating Clipper – clip and secure lenses into baskets. Machine Operator – prepare and operate coating machine (load chemicals, load/unload lenses sectors). Inspector – inspect lenses for optical and cosmetic quality. Finishing Beveler – use bevel wheel to remove sharp edges. Mounter – insert edged lenses, ensure fit and alignment. Edger Operator – operate edging machines to cut lenses to size. Finish Layout Preparer – outline alignment markings and affix chuck/block. Tinter – tint lenses accurately. Inspector – check lenses and frames for quality standards. Surfacing Blocker – secure block to lenses, operate taping equipment. Surface Finer/Polisher – fine and polish lenses. Lens Washer – hand wash/dry lenses, remove block and tape, inspect. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. High mechanical aptitude. 1+ years related manufacturing or lab experience (preferred). Ability to meet measurable standards in a dynamic production environment; depth perception and manual dexterity. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational abilities. Attention to detail. Physical: must stand/walk entire shift, work with chemicals, wet/dirty areas, strong smell. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
