This position willassistwith order processing, vendor communication, data entry, and issue resolution, among other responsibilities as dictated by the Purchasing Manager. Responsibilities: Assistingwith the purchasingofmaterials,equipmentand subcontractor services. Reviewing plans,specificationsand contracts to ensure that the correct items and quantities arepurchased. Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensuretimelydelivery of materials. Establishing andmaintainingrelationships with key suppliers and vendors. Resolving vendor disputes, including product or pricing issues. Communicating product changes to sales,constructionand subcontractors. Data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks for the department. Assistingwith field personnel training onpurchasingprocedures.
