The Opportunity


We ' re looking for MEP Project Managers to join a growing team supporting major building services projects, including complex healthcare developments.


This is an opportunity for technically strong MEP professionals who want to take greater ownership of project delivery, influence design decisions and progress their careers in project management.


The role focuses on ensuring designs are technically sound, identifying issues before they affect delivery and working with consultants, contractors and subcontractors to drive effective solutions.


You won ' t be expected to carry out hands-on design. Instead, you ' ll use your technical understanding of MEP systems to review designs, challenge proposals and ensure the right changes are made.


Key Responsibilities

• Review MEP designs and technical submissions, identifying errors, omissions and potential delivery risks.
• Challenge design teams and consultants where technical issues or changes are required.
• Drive the resolution of design and coordination issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Apply technical building services knowledge to support project decisions.
• Monitor progress on technical issues and ensure actions are followed through.
• Contribute to successful project delivery, maintaining quality and effective communication across teams.

About You

• Experience in MEP project management or a related technical project delivery role.
• Experience working for an MEP contractor, subcontractor or building services consultancy.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services design.
• Able to identify design problems, challenge technical proposals and drive changes.
• Confident managing relationships with consultants, contractors and clients.
• Interested in developing your project management career and taking on greater responsibility.

NEC contract experience is beneficial but not essential.


Salary and Career Progression


Opportunities may be available at different levels, depending on your experience:

• Senior: £55,000 - £60,000 plus car allowance.
• Associate: £60,000 - £70,000 plus car allowance.
• Associate Director: £70,000+ plus car allowance.

The appropriate level and package will depend on your background and the responsibilities you can take on.
