Wedding Venue Sales Manager

Venues: The Addison Grove and Prospect House Location: Austin, TX Reports To: Ownership Status: Full-time, exempt About the role: Heyens Hospitality owns and operates two premier wedding and event venues in the Austin area: The Addison Grove and Prospect House. We are seeking a Venue Sales Manager to lead the sales function across both properties, taking full ownership of the process from initial inquiry through executed contract. In this role, you will conduct venue tours, cultivate meaningful relationships with prospective clients and their families, and guide qualified prospects toward a confident decision on a significant and highly personal investment. What you will do: Own the full sales cycle for both venues: inquiry response, tours, follow-up, negotiation, and close. Conduct personalized venue tours and quickly understand each client's vision, budget, and decision process. Follow up consistently and strategically throughout the sales process. Maintain an accurate, organized pipeline in our CRM and report on tours, conversion, and revenue. Introduce clients to our in-house services, including Native Bloom Floral and wedding planning, where they genuinely fit. Build relationships with planners, caterers, and other Austin wedding professionals. Sell at showcases and open houses, and help shape how we run them. What we are looking for: Required A demonstrated record of building relationships and closing business. Genuinely personable — able to establish trust and credibility quickly with people who are emotionally invested in the decision. Strong follow-up discipline and comfort managing many active opportunities at once. Confident asking for the sale and moving a client toward a decision. Excellent verbal and written communication; polished in person. Comfortable with CRM systems and sales reporting. Strongly preferred Working knowledge of the wedding industry: the planning process, the vendor ecosystem, typical timelines and client expectations. Experience selling luxury or high-touch hospitality, or similar considered purchases. Previous venue, planning, catering, or floral experience. Existing relationships in the Austin wedding market.
