Aspetuck Animal Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team.

Aspetuck Animal Hospital, a Rarebreed partner, is a busy 3+ doctor, AAHA Accredited, full-service veterinary hospital located in the beautiful town of New Preston, CT. Our technologically advanced and progressive practice offers in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, acupuncture, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, and a full surgical suite performing routine procedures, soft tissue procedures, and orthopedics. Our dedicated and friendly staff is committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care, and health-related educational opportunities for our clients. $135,000-$165,000 base salary + production

Eligible for Sign on or Relocation Bonus

What You'll Do

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care
• Read and interpret radiograph and ultrasound studies (telemedicine available for difficult cases)
• Perform dental procedures

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
• Internship training is also preferred but not required
• Ability to attain CT Veterinary License
