Registered Nurse – MS/Tele/PCU (Cardiac Stepdown)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all assigned areas
• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests
• Plan and implement written care plans under the direction of a Physician
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition within a MS/Tele/PCU setting
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of previous nursing experience preferred
• Prior experience in a Cardiac Stepdown or PCU environment
