Position Overview We are looking for a responsible and enthusiastic Staff Pharmacist who can support our daily pharmacy operations, provide safe and accurate medication dispensing, counsel patients, and work collaboratively with our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality pharmacy care. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely. Provide professional patient counseling regarding medications, dosage, administration, precautions, and potential side effects. Evaluate prescriptions for appropriateness, potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and dosing concerns. Communicate with prescribers and healthcare professionals when prescription clarification is needed. Support daily retail pharmacy operations and provide excellent patient service. Perform compounding-related responsibilities within applicable laws, regulations, pharmacy policies, and established procedures. Participate in compounding activities and training as applicable to the position. Follow proper medication handling, storage, labeling, documentation, and quality assurance procedures. Maintain accurate pharmacy records and required documentation. Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and other team members. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy requirements. Follow all applicable federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards. Contribute to a safe, organized, and professional pharmacy environment. Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care. Qualifications & Requirements Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the applicable state, as required for the position. PharmD or other recognized pharmacy degree meeting applicable licensing requirements. New graduates are welcome to apply. Retail pharmacy experience is preferred but not required for qualified applicants. Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus; training is available. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to medication safety, professional ethics, and quality patient care. Willingness to learn and follow pharmacy procedures and applicable regulations. Ability to work the scheduled hours, including some Saturdays. Compensation: Competitive pay.
