Property Accountant

Senior Property AccountantAre you an experienced accountant with a background in commercial or multifamily real estate? We're partnering with a well-respected Richmond organization seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their growing team.Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for a portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties. Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow analysis. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, owner distributions, audits, and year-end reporting. Support property onboarding activities and collaborate closely with property management teams. Mentor and support junior accounting staff.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred). 5+ years of accounting experience. Strong financial statement preparation and GAAP reporting experience. Advanced Excel skills. Real estate accounting experience required. MRI or Yardi experience is a plus.This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working independently, building client relationships, and making a meaningful impact within a collaborative team environment.Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
