Come build your future with us!About the RoleAs a Floating Senior Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and appeal of multiple residential communities throughout the Boston, MA region, including communities in Chelsea, Peabody, Lawrence, Woburn, South Walpole, Milford, and Andover. Travel throughout the region is supported by a monthly auto allowance.This role involves diagnosing and repairing issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. The Senior Maintenance Technician ensures the safety and cleanliness of the property, maintains amenities, and responds to maintenance requests promptly and professionally. This position also involves supervising outside contractors, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.What You'll DoBelow is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus.Maintenance and RepairsPerform daily maintenance tasks and diagnose/repair issues in various areas.Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.Property and Amenity MaintenanceMaintain pool, hot tub, and other amenities.Ensure safety and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.Maintain exterior property for curb appeal.Preventative Maintenance and InspectionsSchedule and document preventative maintenance and apartment turns.Conduct regular inspections of common areas and equipment.Supervision and CoordinationSupervise duties and outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.Coordinate move-ins and move-outs.Safety and ComplianceAssist with safety meetings and compliance with policies and regulations.Report potential liabilities and ensure property compliance.Inventory and Supplies ManagementMaintain inventory and assist in purchasing materials and supplies.Resident and Community EngagementParticipate in resident functions and assist with posting notices.Why You'll Love FairfieldWe're all about creating communities that people are proud to call home. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
