Ensure continued production operation as it relates to refrigeration equipment. Dismantle malfunctioning system and test components using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment. Respond to emergency calls regarding refrigeration systems. Physical Requirements Physical demands with activity or conditions that require considerable time include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and carrying products. Ability to frequently lift or move 75 lbs. Ability to work in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 100+ degrees. Ability to work from elevated catwalks, aerial lift platforms, ladders, and scissor lift. Must be able to grip a minimum of 45 lbs. with each hand. Qualifications Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in refrigeration and HVAC and utility equipment/systems operation, repair, and maintenance. (RETA Certification – CARO and CIRO) EPA refrigerant recovery certification. HAZMAT training certification preferred. Must be able to provide own hand tools. Must have working knowledge of Process Safety Management program (PSM) relative to Ammonia Refrigeration Systems. Excellent organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and 5 years of driving experience. No visible tattoos or piercings permitted while in the workplace. Smoke- & Vape-Free Workplace. Contingent upon successful completion of a company-initiated and approved background check and motor vehicle report (MVR), drug screen, physical, and human performance evaluation (HPE).
