Hello! Our family in Long Island City is searching for a part-time, short-term teacher to teach our 3-year-old Japanese. This is not a childcare position. We are offering $50.00 per hour for language lessons. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Japanese-language teacher with early childhood experience. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with early childhood or primary school-aged children, and be able to provide a warm and engaging atmosphere for them. Duties will include preparing and conducting Japanese lessons for our 3-year-old in the home including being flexible and keeping the child engaged and exposed to the language through age-appropriate activities.
