Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary Installs and repairs machines utilizing basic electrical, and industrial equipment diagnostic skills. Diagnoses and uses troubleshooting skills to fix malfunctioning apparatus and performs preventative maintenance ESSENTIAL DUTIES Performs electrical, or mechanical troubleshooting skills to repair building related items. Dismantles, adjusts, and repairs assemblies according to prints. Responsible for PM program for all presses. Able to operate a full range of shop equipment tooling and machinery. Able to read and interpret schematics and other drawings. Proficient with welding and using cutting tools. Perform all duties in a safe manner and follows all work rules. Will have to work at heights in lifts occasionally. Requirements HS Diploma or GED Additional technical school and/or vocational education Mechanical and electrical background required Previous experience interpreting schematics and blueprints.
