Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date: 09/21/2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,579–$1,736 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week. Setting: hospital Med/Surg unit with approximately 30 beds.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to mixed Med/Surg patients on a ~30-bed unit with a 5–6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Assess patients, monitor vitals, administer medications, and document in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Perform accurate handoffs during shift changes and communicate changes in patient status to the care team
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory standards
- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate to the charge nurse or physician as needed

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience; level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week
- Willingness to work on a 30-bed Med/Surg unit with a 5–6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Travel assignment: eligible to work in the United States and willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA for a 16-week assignment
