Site Supervisor

Manage and report all aspects of the operation at the Somerset site in a safe and efficient manner. Accountable for controlling, leading, prioritizing, and scheduling operational needs and activities for the 24/7 operation. Maintain positive customer relations through proactive communication and responding completely and timely. Assist in preparing an annual budget. Provide feedback and reports to the Operations Director on a continuous basis.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, track and periodically reports all aspects of operations across the Site, including Environment, Health & Safety, production, maintenance, capex, quality, continuous improvement initiatives, as well as communication with hosting mill and customers to achieve goals established by company management Key interfaces: ensures effective coordination with Host mill, vendors, government, and various internal partners such as Sales, Purchasing, HR, and Finance as well as Operation Director. Serve as point of contact and provide plant tours and/or inspections by customer, government, officials and other visitors. Purchase chemicals, equipment, spare parts and services as needed for plant operation. Interact with relevant vendors to ensure their work is done properly and their purchase orders and goods receival are entered correctly Develop work schedule to achieve production and product delivery requirements Ensures products are manufactured and delivered on schedule, and within quality standards and cost objectives Leads optimization effort to address competitiveness / demand requirements, incl. capex for debottlenecking or extension, flexibility and reduction of lead-times, productivity / energy consumption, maintenance, cost reduction / continuous improvement Periodically assess status and implement changes in policies, processes, and procedures where needed for enhancement to productivity, efficiency, quality and overall work culture Develop employees and make sure required training is performed Make sure all work activities are in compliance with all Company/State/Regulatory policy and procedure requirements. Assist in preparing the annual budget. Continually monitor and adjust cost throughout the year to assure they remain with budgetary guidelines. Associate degree in related field. Bachelor degree preferred Minimum one years' experience in a supervisory/management role, with demonstrated ability to manage teams Prefer experience in industrial manufacturing operations, chemical processing, mineral processing and/or continuous processing operations Good computer skills including knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft word, excel and power point, and email Ability to effectively supervise diverse work groupsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical requirements of this position include reading, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, climbing, repetitive motions, bending - stooping, standing for prolonged periods of time, toleration to heights, toleration of high temperatures, ability to enter confined spaces, balancing, pushing, pulling and ability to operate all hand tools and lift up to 50 lbs.
