Facility Manager

Job Title: Facility Manager Reports to: SoPakco Distribution, Inc. Greeneville/Kingsport, TN Job Summary: SoPakCo Facility Managers are expected to work as a valued member of the warehouse and distribution team. This position consists of managing the maintenance department, daily maintenance of equipment/facilities, and overseeing projects. As a facility manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work while maximizing productivity. Responsibilities will include business financials, facility repair/maintenance quotes, capital projects, equipment purchases, and P & L. Job Description/Required Skills: Ability to perform maintenance on equipment and facilities. Provide outstanding customer service. Must be able to cross train to work at all business locations. Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment. Must have good time-management skills. Knowledge of work processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Outlook, Word, and Excel) Great interpersonal and communication skills. Ensure all associates follow policies including company rules and safety guidelines. Ability to make decisions, problem solving, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment. Education and Experience: Facility maintenance experience required. Transportation/Trucking knowledge is a plus. HVAC knowledge is a plus. Electrical knowledge is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor or Associate degree is a plus. Physical Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license. Must be 18 years or older. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, squat, kneel, twist, crawl, and bend for prolonged periods throughout the shift. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. Must be able to work in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold Must be able to climb ladders and work in high places. Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.
