$33-$36/hour Join LTC Therapy Services as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and make a meaningful difference in residents' recovery and independence. You'll work closely with a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on treatment in a collaborative rehabilitation environment.
What You'll Do
- Carry out physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed PT
- Help residents improve mobility, balance, strength, gait, and endurance
- Support residents in reaching functional goals and maximizing independence
- Observe progress and communicate relevant changes to the supervising therapist
- Provide resident and caregiver education on exercises and mobility techniques
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time
- Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other members of the care team
- Supportive interdisciplinary rehabilitation department
