Associate Attorney - Mass Tort Team Position: Associate Attorney - Mass Tort Team Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Office, Exempt Position Overview We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Mass Tort Team. The attorney will represent individuals who have suffered injuries from defective products and medical devices by providing legal counsel, conducting discovery, appearing in court, and researching and drafting legal pleadings. Qualifications 1-3 years of attorney experience required Personal injury experience preferred Active license to practice law in any U.S. state (Missouri and/or Illinois preferred) Strong legal research and writing skills Knowledge of legal procedures, including discovery, motion practice, filing, and case management Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlines Ability to learn and utilize case management and client management systems Compassion for assisting injured clients Responsibilities Learn and manage filing and case management procedures for various multidistrict litigation matters Research and draft legal pleadings, motions, and memoranda Assist with preparing, conducting, and reviewing discovery Communicate with clients and opposing counsel Manage a large client caseload through effective delegation and oversight of paralegals and legal assistants Attend court appearances as needed Perform all duties in an office environment Requirements Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually Benefits Include: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short-Term Disability Long-Term Disability 401(k) Plan Continuing Legal Education Support Pet Insurance Identity Theft Protection Gym Membership/Wellness Benefit
