Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high quality applications. This role requires a deep understanding of testing frameworks and cloud platforms such as PCF or Azure. The candidate must possess strong Java 8 skills, as this is a deal breaker for the position.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement user interfaces using Angular JS, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Utilize cloud platforms (PCF/Azure) for application deployment and management.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java 8.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Proficient in Angular JS for front end development.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically PCF or Azure.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
