Position: Senior Analyst - AMLLocation: Plano, TexasDuration: ContractJob ID: 179402Job Overview: The Senior Analyst - AML will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and policies. This position involves analyzing financial transactions, identifying suspicious activities, and supporting the organization's efforts to mitigate financial crime risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AML compliance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Conduct detailed analysis of financial transactions to identify potential money laundering activities.Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in compliance with regulatory requirements.Monitor and review customer accounts and transactions for unusual or suspicious activity.Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve AML-related issues.Stay updated on AML regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.Provide recommendations to improve AML processes and controls.Assist in audits and regulatory examinations related to AML compliance.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AML compliance or a related role.Strong knowledge of AML regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and USA PATRIOT Act.Experience with AML monitoring systems and tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are a plus.About PTR Global: PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
