Sterile Processing Tech II
This position requires a Sterile Processing Tech II working the day shift. The schedule is a block of Tuesday through Saturday. No on-call shifts are required. Candidates must possess 2 years of experience in sterile processing. First-time travelers will be considered if they have strong skills in cardiac, orthopedic, and neuro tray assembly. Licensure includes either CBSPD or IAHCSMM/SPA. BLS certification is preferred for this role. Holiday work is required as scheduled. Floating to various areas within the specialty is necessary, including rotating through decontamination. Weekends are part of the block scheduling and will occur every Friday and Saturday. Familiarity with specific equipment such as SPM and Steris V-Pro is essential. Compliance with special procedures and unit details is also required. Candidates must be comfortable adapting to different environments and requirements.
