Home Helpers is seeking compassionate, experienced and dedicated caregivers to work within our clients' home to provide support with ADLS & IADLS. We are growing our team and looking for reliable caregivers to provide companion care and daily living assistance to the elderly, and those requiring recuperative or continuing care. Responsibilities (will vary by client):
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Personal care (bathing, toileting)
- Follow a plan of care
- Communicate professionally with families and your team
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Applicants must be willing to complete all necessary requirements for employment
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Clean driving record
- PCA Certificate or CNA License
- Pass a Mandatory Background check without barrier crimes
- Access to email and a mobile smart device
- Reliable transportation
Our Caregivers must exhibit the following characteristics:
- Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care
- Is compassionate and cares about the dignity of each client
- Communicates well with family members and office administration
- Possesses patience and understanding
- Has good listening skills
- Possesses ability to be empathetic
On Call Schedule:
- Full-time (40 hrs/wk)
- Must be available 24 hours, 6 days a week
- Must be available on weekends
Compensation: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
