Speech and Language Therapist

Speech and Language Therapist We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team at Manor House School, West Sussex (RH13 0QX). This is a permanent full‑time role (term time only or flexible contract can be discussed). The successful candidate will support pupils aged 5‑18 who may have developmental trauma, neuro‑divergence or SEMH needs. Location & Salary Location: Manor House School – West Sussex RH13 0QX Salary: Up to £53,200 pro rata (dependent on experience) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract: Permanent (term time only or flexible full‑time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances) Essential Requirements Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy HCPC registered and registered with the RCSLT Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma‑informed practice Experience of multi‑disciplinary working in a range of settings Effective communication with families, relatives and carers Excellent time‑management, organisational and relationship‑building skills Strong knowledge of RCSLT Communication Standards and SaLT assessment tools Understanding of relevant legislation and its impact on clinical practice Willingness to attend training and work towards further qualifications Graceful approach to comparison and a flexible, person‑centred mindset Responsibilities Deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neuro‑divergence or SEMH needs. Manage a caseload of Speech and Language Therapy patients within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working. Provide support for the educational team through teaching, training and consultation. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to foster pupil independence and growth. Contribute to staff training and professional development activities.
