OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Durham, NC by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate nationwide dry van loads from Durham, NC as an OTR solo CDL-A driver for HMD Trucking. You’ll focus on safe long-haul operations, on-time deliveries, and maintaining required records and inspections.

Core tasks:

• Drive company-provided dry van tractors with sleeper accommodations on OTR lanes.
• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and manage electronic logbooks.
• Communicate with dispatch and adhere to routing and safety protocols.

HMD provides pay starting at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles, modern trucks under three years with APUs and inverters, in-house maintenance, regular home time every two weeks, and comprehensive benefits. CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months' experience required.
