Underground Utility Construction LaborerJoin a crew that builds critical underground infrastructure supporting gas, electric, and communication systems. As an Underground Utility Construction Laborer, you will work alongside experienced field teams installing and maintaining essential utilities.This is a hands-on, physically demanding role ideal for individuals who take pride in hard work, value teamwork, and want to grow in the utility construction industry.Perform general labor tasks in a utility construction environment using hand tools and equipmentDig and trim trenches, backfill, and support installation activitiesAssist with manhole construction, pipe installation/removal, and concrete workInstall, remove, and assist with conduit, cable, and related infrastructureSupport demolition and site restoration activitiesRead and interpret plans, specifications, and instructionsAssist line-up crews, welders, and field operations as neededSupport construction, repair, and maintenance of utility infrastructureDrive company vehicles to job sites and assist with traffic control and flaggingCompensation is based on the applicable union scale, with opportunities for higher starting pay based on experience.Minimum Starting Pay: $31.66/hour (includes $2.00/hour CDL Premium - $27.66/hour base + $4.00/hour vacation)Steady, year-round work on critical utility infrastructure projectsOpportunity to grow within directional drilling and utility constructionWork with experienced crews in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentHands-on training with specialized equipment and techniquesUnion benefits, including wage progression and long-term career stabilitySafety is our top priority—no exceptions.
