Part Time (.1-.74), Day/Evening/Night, 40hrs/2wks Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist successfully meets the needs of patients and families by delivering excellent patient care, performing diagnostic radiology imaging procedures in a compassionate and safe manner, and following established practices. Contributes to a positive and collaborative work environment while operating radiographic equipment, processing quality images, maintaining adequate records, assisting providers, and following standard radiation and safety procedures. This position will train in CT, and upon successful completion of CT training, the employee will receive a wage increase accordingly. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $30.89–$43.61, reflecting the base salary for this role. The specific compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and internal equity considerations. Key Accountabilities Deliver excellent patient care by demonstrating compassion, thoroughly explaining procedures to patients, providing patient comfort, answering patient questions, and completing exams in a timely manner. Prepare patients for imaging exams by reviewing provider orders and notes, confirming the correct exam to be performed, accurately assessing patients’ needs, positioning patients appropriately for exam, and providing patient education. Perform quality exams by operating applicable imaging equipment competently, including data acquisition, image manipulation and reconstruction, and quality control measures to ensure optimal quality diagnostic images while monitoring the patient throughout the exam. Maintain accurate patient records by completing correct and timely entries in all electronic health systems (i.e., HIS/RIS, PACS) and departmental specific programs. Practice accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work in a calm manner, anticipate work to be done, and seek to assist others, maximizing productivity in both patient care and non‑patient care departmental tasks. Stay current in the field by enhancing personal professional skills and knowledge through CEUs, self‑study, research, and dialogue, ensuring competency in all assigned exams and ability to float to assigned areas. Support the organization by performing other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications ARRT (R) – Registration in Radiology or ARRT Registry eligible, with completion within 6 months of hire. Must be enrolled in NH+C RQI program for BLS certification and complete the requirements within 90 days of enrollment; must remain current by completing quarterly assignments prior to the end of each calendar quarter. Initial Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) within six months. Workplace Violence education in New Employee Orientation and annually thereafter. Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently to ensure safe and effective communication in a healthcare environment. ARRT (R) – Registration in Radiology and a minimum of one year experience are preferred. Schedule 40 hours per 2‑week pay period. Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Evening Shift: 1:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Night Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Overnight Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Primary work during evening and night shifts, with overnight coverage every fourth weekend.
